Business card design concept for Pompeian's headquarters in Baltimore. Pompeian, known for their olive oil and other cooking products, wanted to raise awareness in the community that they are a Baltimore brand and have a long history with the Port of Baltimore.
Our team was also tasked with creating a program for Pompeian to connect with the local Baltimore community through a non-profit. We eventually created the concept and branding for "The Olive Branch Project," which paired Pompeian with the Penn North Kids Safe Zone. The program focused on events where local chefs and Pompeian employees taught a kid-friendly cooking class where the kids learned about healthy eating and made their own salads and dressings.

I was tasked with creating instructional recipe handouts for the kids to follow during the classes and then take home for future use. The kids’ recipe handouts needed to be fun and accessible to kids (ages 5-17) of all reading levels. The custom illustrations were an important tool to assist with the identification of the ingredients due to the varying reading levels and level of exposure to certain foods. I photographed one of the cooking classes held at Pompeian in their event space and the photos were featured in the Baltimore Business Journal.
