Brand identity refresh for an online watch band retailer. All Watch Bands was looking to connect with a younger audience plus take their very literal name and incorporate it into a logo and subsequent symbol. The solution? After conducting market research, we realized watch bands come in all shapes and sizes, but the consistent, recognizable features are the buckle and keepers. This led to the creation of the buckle symbol and “AWB” was born. The use of bold, geometric elements combined with textiles was used to portray a fun, modern feel with a hint of an industrial look.
The new branding was carried out across all mediums, including: business cards, order packaging, postcards, sizing & measuring guides, retail website, social media and email marketing.
The brand refresh also included art directing AWB’s new photography style. The eye-catching, bold style and bright colors were chosen to compliment the boldness of the new symbol and measuring icons set. I art directed, styled and photographed product imagery and then used that photography to create designs implemented on AWB’s retail site, social media and marketing materials.
For seasonal holiday materials, the goal was to highlight both holiday themed products and also new product lines. I conceptualized and art directed product photography and created holiday materials including social posts, website banners, email promotions and digital gift guide.
